I'm Emmanuel: designer, builder, fourteen years of making things for brands. All of it taught me one belief:

Craft is the point. Systems protect it.

AI made volume cheap. Craft survives only if the system carries it.

Every dot on this page was placed by rules I wrote and taste I trained. That's the balance I care about: the hand and the system, neither without the other. So I build a brand's design knowledge as a living source: identity, structure, styles and context written once, read by a person or by an AI with the same fidelity.

Concept before pixels.

Nothing gets designed until it means something.

Hyper hi-fi or it doesn't count.

Decisions get made on the thing itself, never on a picture of it. This page is that habit, in public.

With the system I built the brand's initial base: tone of voice, color, the foundations of the design system. I made the UX calls and their UI implementations, like color temperatures tuned to the level of comfort each surface asks for, themed across light and dark through the token layer.

Automotive web platform · the second

A repo-authoritative system with 162 tokens across four semantic layers, 22 spec-driven components, and a Figma plugin whose eight tools keep design, Figma and code in zero drift, down to the installable developer handoff. 93 documented decisions, in 22 days.

The lab never closes.

The beginnings stay in memory: they are what the expertise is made of.

Two sparks earned their place here. The Orb, a hackathon build around a single button that collapsed the distance between imagining and making. And ColorSight: I'm colorblind, strong protan, so I built the tool I needed at eight years old. Snap a photo and it names the colors, answers your questions, hands you a working palette.

Accessibility is not my checklist. It is my instinct. And AI is the biggest lever it has ever had.

Curiosity is the base of how I think; analysis and concept are how I steer it. I'm an interdisciplinary designer with a background in business: I need to understand things from inside before trusting them, and I need a concept before caring. Structure to build, intuition to decide.

The breadth is deliberate: I build my own furniture, repair my own car, cook without recipes. Different materials, one instinct: plan, make, adjust, finish. Breadth is how you get leverage on new technology, and it is why I could see this system before I could name it.

What I'm building next.

From validated hypothesis to living infrastructure.

Today I'm maturing the idea into a full infrastructure. At its center sits a brand brain: a knowledge base that holds identity, structure, styles and context, written so a person and an AI read the same truth.

Two layers, like every honest system: stable primitives underneath, specific applications above. It already speaks human language and code. Now it speaks Figma too: a plugin that keeps traditional design systems maintained by the infrastructure, so the source of truth is never a file. Not a roadmap: it runs in production on the second system today.

Every project I run has a brain at its root: documented reasoning, explicit rules, living state.

The map you walked through isn't a metaphor for how I work. It is how I work: this page, the two systems behind it, and whatever I build next all run on the same architecture.

The teams I admire keep the same notes I do: craft as the constant, AI as the amplifier, judgment as the scarce resource. If your studio reads that and nods, we already work the same way.
